Polyarteritis Nodosa (PAN)

Polyarteritis nodosa is an auto immune disorder which involves inflammation of the arteries, especially in the elderly population.  Symptoms of this condition include fever, pain, fatigue, weight loss, bleeding, and dysfunction of organs affected by the inflammation.  Usually muscles, joints, intestines, nerves, kidneys, and the skin are affected due to polyarteritis nodosa.  The modern management of this condition usually includes the use of steroids and immune suppressant drugs.

Ayurvedic herbal treatment for polyarteritis nodosa is aimed at giving symptomatic treatment for the symptoms of the disease as well as treating the root cause for this condition, which is inflammation of affected arteries.  Medicines which reduce pain and fever are routinely used to give symptomatic relief from the symptoms.  In addition, Ayurvedic herbal medicines are used to treat the inflammation in the arteries.  Medicines which have a specific and targeted action on the blood and blood vessels are used in high doses in order to bring about a quick and complete cure for this condition.  This treatment reverses the pathology of this disease and brings about improvement in other symptoms such as pain, bleeding, and dysfunction of the organs.

The treatment package includes shipping costs for domestic clients who are ordering within India. Shipping charges are extra for international clients. In addition, international clients will have to select a minimum of 2 months' order since this will be the most cost effective and practical option.

With a full course of treatment, most patients with mild or moderate disease get complete relief ; patients with severe and advanced disease experience relief from symptoms and no further progression in disease. In such patients, the focus is on reversing pathology to the maximum extent possible and minimizing risk of morbidity and mortality. Most patients with advanced disease may require to sign a consent letter before commencing treatment.
