Bronchiectasis

Bronchiectasis is a medical condition which involves an abnormal dilatation of the proximal and medium sized airways in the lungs.  This is a chronic and obstructive lung disease with symptoms which include breathlessness, severe cough and hemoptysis.  Severe affliction with this medical condition can result in a complete collapse of the airways, and can cause significant morbidity and mortality.  The common causes of bronchiectasis include recurrent lung infections, bronchial obstruction, hereditary lung disorders, and some auto immune diseases.

Ayurvedic herbal treatment for bronchiectasis involves treatment of the inflammation of the airways in the lungs as well as treatment to reverse the abnormal dilatation of these parts.  Treatment is also aimed at any known cause of the disease.  Ayurvedic herbal medicines which have a strong anti-inflammatory action and also have a specific affinity for the respiratory tract as well as the lungs, are used in high doses for prolonged periods in order to bring about a significant improvement in the pathology of bronchiectasis, which in turn relieves symptoms significantly.

Ayurvedic herbal treatment is also aimed at treating recurrent lung infections as well as recurrent allergic conditions such as bronchial asthma, as well as chronic bronchitis.  If the affected individual is known to suffer from some auto immune disorder, this condition also needs to be treated concurrently.  In addition to giving Ayurvedic herbal medicines to reduce the inflammation and dilatation, herbal medicines are also given to improve the strength of the lungs as well as the respiratory mucosa.

Local courier charges, international shipping costs incurred, and documentation and handling charges also will not be refunded.Even in case of exceptional circumstances, a refund will be considered only within 10 days from delivery of the medicines. The decision taken by staff of Mundewadi Ayurvedic Clinic in this respect will be final and binding on all clients.

The treatment package includes shipping costs for domestic clients who are ordering within India. Shipping charges are extra for international clients. In addition, international clients will have to select a minimum of 2 months' order since this will be the most cost effective and practical option.

With a full course of treatment, most patients with early disease get complete relief ; patients with severe and advanced disease experience relief from symptoms and recurrent infections and there is no further progression in disease. Early commencement of treatment is recommended to avoid permanent, irreversible damge.
