Aplastic Anemia

Aplastic anemia is a medical condition resulting from bone marrow failure in which the production of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets decreases drastically.  Nearly 80% of individuals affected with aplastic anemia have some acquired cause of the disease which includes infectious diseases, toxic exposure, drug reactions, and unknown factors.  A severely dysfunctional immune system is believed to be the cause for aplastic anemia.  Common symptoms for this condition include severe anemia, bleeding, fever, and infections.

Ayurvedic herbal treatment for aplastic anemia is aimed at treating the known cause of the condition, improving the immune status of the affected individual, and giving medicines which act on the bone marrow.  Treating the dysfunctional immune status of the individual is of utmost importance, since a strong immunity can help bring about an early reversal of symptoms and a complete cure.  Ayurvedic herbal medicines which act directly on the bone marrow and stimulate it to produce the normally required amount of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets, are used in high doses for prolonged periods.

In addition, medicines which act on the liver and spleen as well as the blood tissue are also used in combination with the above-mentioned medicines.  This combination treatment helps in an earlier remission from the symptoms of aplastic anemia, brings about an early cure, and prevents recurrence of the condition.  The use of Ayurvedic immunomodulatory herbal agents reduces the treatment time and helps in maintaining the strength, stamina and vitality of the affected individual.

Local courier charges, international shipping costs incurred, and documentation and handling charges also will not be refunded.Even in case of exceptional circumstances, a refund will be considered only within 10 days from delivery of the medicines. The decision taken by staff of Mundewadi Ayurvedic Clinic in this respect will be final and binding on all clients.

The treatment package includes shipping costs for domestic clients who are ordering within India. Shipping charges are extra for international clients. In addition, international clients will have to select a minimum of 2 months' order since this will be the most cost effective and practical option.

With a full course of treatment, most patients with mild or moderate disease, get complete relief  with just oral medicines ; patients with severe and advanced disease usually require several courses of Panchkarma treatment along with prolonged duration of oral medicines for a complete remission. Since this disease is an auto-immune disorder, we also advise concurrent diet and lifestyle modifications. Some of our patients hace achieved complete remission within 8 months of treatment, and have not relapsed since the last more than 8 years.
